Thagirion

Thagirion is the most evil and wicked demon you'll ever meet. He's my take on Satan. He's a dragon like monster that's mostly a skeleton and his skin is made from the magma of the inner earth itself. Because of this his flesh is constantly decaying and falling off him. His wing membranes have huge holes in them and constantly change shape as the magma drips from the bones. A wretched creature he created our galaxy, set evolution into motion eons ago and in this day is responsible for all the religions of the world. He has the ability to change form and his main passion is stealing souls. The demon knows all the languages that are and have been put prefers the old English. I've used him in many RPGs on message boards and chats. I love him, and along with Owen he's my favorite orginal character. I'm amazed I waited so long to put him into a full story.

This is the first drawing I ever did of Thagirion and I'm amazed that it is the best I have ever done. The coloring and sharpness turned out the best on this and he truely is frightening.

An early drawing. This was the first time I drew him full bodied. The black metal star on the tip of his tail is clearly visible. It is almost impossible for a person to go near him because of his intense heat.

These were pre sketches where I was just trying to get a feel for him. I love the look of him under his jaw as he summons his spirit birds. It's the first time I'd drawn spirit birds.

This was a scene from an RP on a board with the character Kitora. Thagirion fights her on his terms, gives her a sickening kiss to the middle head as he bends the other two back at the necks and vomits bones and decay into her then finishes off with a violation. I love how he turned out and as well as the sky and the lava blobs.

Another RP I did with Kitorah. Same board too. This drawing is ok. I'll never do this again though. Thagirion had lost his memory was out of his domain and he been revived by being thrown into a volcano on a starnge world. For the first time he came out renewed fully fleshed...it didn't last long and he began to decay. On that note he's never been fully fleshed. He's always been a decaying decrepit creature.

Thag in Hell playing with his spirit birds. Spirit birds are lost souls and the worst of the worst. These people did such terrible things in life normal Hell can not hold them so they live within Thagirion himself and are his loyal servants. He only calls on them during intense battles.

Davon Ember Flare. Handsome man isn't he? But don't fall for him ladies. This is Thagirion's human form. A wealthy modern day business man that runs the twisted internation corporation of Flare Enterprise.

Lamia. She is the only lucky woman that actually had Davon fall in love with her for real. All other women for him had been nothing but lust drives. He truely fell in love and married her. He'd stayed human so long he fell for one of the flesh's weaknesses.

He loved Lamia so much he had to tell her the truth of who he was. She rejected him when she first found out and he felt heart break for the first time. But later he convinced her of his love and begged her to join him as his queen in Hell.

Lyciferah. Lamia accepted and became Lyciferah.

Thagirion gathering up a following of Gryphons from their guild. He loves this type of worship. Those that wouldn't follow him he'd destroy.

This drawing was a colaboration with a my friend Winxodile. I drew it she colored it because I wasn't able to color Illucian. Ill was a female light dragon that pissed me off in an RPG for claming to have been a powerful demon hunting angel. When it came down to the nitty gritty she cried and ran away. I won't take that kind of worthless victory so I changed the story around and Thagirion just killed her, mutilated her then raped her. Yes in that order.

Sorath The Black Sun. This is Thagirion's second in command and a sun demon. He's completely loyal to Thagirion and no one else. He has a small solar system around his tail and he can use the planets as projectiles. He can travel through space with no trouble. He is the one that will usher in the beast for the sun he'll turn black and it's number is 6.

Sorath with his sun staff. It was Sorath's work that caused all the sun worship in the Aztec cultures and most of Meso-American societies down to the Incas. Blood of virgins was spilt for him on the steps of the pyramids in the new world so that the sun would rise each day.

Flare Enterprise's symbol. You'll find this logo on all of FE's products.

I'm a bit of a Hellraiser on boards at times. I used to moderate a fish board and we had a jerk causing trouble name Serresalmus. That's the genus name of a type of piranha. So to piss him off further and show how he'd been defeated I made this comic with him as the villian and how worthless he was. Everyone loved it and he got so mad he hired a hacker to attack the board. That really proved I'd socked it to him. LOL. Enjoy page one.

Page two of the Serresalmus comic. Stupid jerk! I got a kick ass axe out of this though. I come up with my best stuff when I'm angered. Thagirion himself is a product of my rage at something stuipd that had happened on a board back around '98 or so.

This three headed winged serpent is Quetzalqutel. He is third in command of Hell and the one that Sorath and Thagirion need to watch out for. Quetzalqutel is a hateful monster that only has one thing on his mind: Dethroning Thagirion. It is no big secret and all the realms know that he wants to take over. He challenged Thagirion many times and lost with major injuries each time. He openly ridicules Thagirion's plans and plots behind his back to the point of even trying to turn Sorath against him. Luckily Sorath is the only true loyal demon and has trounced Quetzalqutel many times as well for blaspheming the master. Why does Thagirion keep this snake at suck a high rank? Keep your friends close but your enemies closer. Thagirion likes him close so he can keep his eye on him.

This is Cryahgan. He was the leader of the ice demons in my Fire and Ice story that again was never finished. Hell went to war with itself and only fire and ice demons survived. All other elements had been destroyed. Thagirion led the fires and Cryahgan was his new arch enemy.

This is Krystallos from Fire and Ice. He was second in command for the Ice demons and a trecherous bastard. In a way he's the counterpart to Quetzalquatel. He obeys Cryahgan's orders only because he has to, but he openly berates him and makes it clear that he wants to usurp him. No one should ever turn their back on his ice demon. Don't let his looks fool you either. He may look scrawny but he's tough.

Meet Solan Rah. This is Sorath's human form. He works for Davon at Flare Enterprise, again as second in command and right hand man. If your business is with the boss and you manage to get to the top you have to get through Solan first before you may meet Davon. Solan is a true manager and over sees everyone's work making sure things get done right. He also serves as Davon's bodyguard, not that he needs one, but they have to keep the humans fooled by playing thier roles.

Here is another drawing of Solan. I really love this one. I'm very happy with the shading and the way my background turned out. The colors for this were inspired by Gamma Ray's Ultimate Collection. Solan has beautiful eyes. I just love them.

This is a funny situation that Solan has found himself in. He walks to and from work everyday and passes by a field of sunflowers. The problem is that when he walks by them, they all turn toward him instead of facing the sun which is behind them. Sunflowers always follow the sun but Solan's the next best thing and much closer. It's annoying for him and you can just hear him thinking, "Knock it off guys. You're gonna blow my cover."

I'm very impressed with how this turned out. It is my first attempt with a more realistic space background. Here Sorath is on one of his normal explorations. When he's not serving Thagirion, The Black Sun loves to fly through space and explore the universe. As second in command there is only one thing he fears besides Thagirion's wrath and that is a black hole. Being light based it is reasonable since not even light can escape from the immense gravity of a black hole. Here poor Sorath has stumbled across one. He hisses furiously and makes a rapid exit.

This is Afotos. His name means no light and appropriately so. He's a black hole entity and a child of darkness. Sorath should fear him because he stands no chance against this nasty guy. Afotos has the power of the black hole and of immense gravity. He absorbs light and it is very difficult to see him in the dark. These two are natural enemies. Afotos comes from the largest of black holes: The radio galaxy. These are located deep in space. He's had a run in before with the Black Sun and it wasn't pretty for poor Sorath. Luckily Thagirion arrived to save him.

The Sorrian Song. I'm very impressed with this drawing. This took me about seven hours to color and a whole day to draw. I really put the effort into this and it has paid off. Thagirion and Sorath are dueting together their beautiful song. What do these two sound like when the talk or sing? Well Thagirion's black metal and Sorath is Death metal. What song would they be singing? Try Graveworm's Abhorrence. I've had this idea since before I even created Thagirion or Sorath. Anytime I heard a song with both black and death vocals I imagined a thing decrepit monster and a muscular monster singing together. The image finally became clearer and I created Thagirion first. Later I realized his death back up vocals were Sorath's.

This is a drawing that was inspired by Burning Point's song Quicker Than The Eye. This song is about a servant watching his master in a battle destroying his ememies. He's admiring his work. Every time I heard that I could see Sorath being the singer watching with admiration and respect as Thagirion descended into battle. I will always think of Sorath when I hear that. So I drew this scene which is after the battle has been own. Thagirion has long left but Sorath remains still taking in the carnage. Originally was going to have dead bodies everywhere all the way out to the horizon but I found that I'm not at that level yet to tackle something so difficult. I'm still happy with how it turned out and I like the smoke rising to form the Thagirion symbol.

This has got to be the best Thagirion drawing I've done so far. It's gonna be hard to top this one. Here we see Sorath entering Thagirion's throne room bringing news. Let's hope for Sorath's sake it's good news. I love how wicked and decrepit Thagirion is on his throne with his wings wraped around it like hands. It's interesting because he can actually use his wings as an extra set of hands. This is the first time I drew Sorath from behind. I like how his loincloth fans out and looks like feathers. It's easy to see how it rests on both sides of his tail. He's the brightest thing in the room and he makes a very nice contrast.

This is a drawing I made for Valentine's 2006. What is better than a big gushy heart for Valeninte's? Sorath loved blood sacrifices and forced nations to perform them or he threatened that the sun would not rise the next day. I'm very happy with how my Aztec Indians turned out. I'm definitely getting better at drawing people. Oh and here again we see Sorath from behind.

I love this drawing. It's so sweet. Here you see Solan greeting the morning sun. This drawing was inspired by the first verse from Candle Mass' song At The Gallows End.

I like how bright this is and Solan truely loves his star. I'm quite proud of this because the sun beams and spots you see scattered around weren't done with a program. I drew them in myself using the airbrush tool.
