| This is the longest it's ever taken me to color anything. I spent four days on this. It was such a pain but it finally paid off. I made each planet from scratch in photoshop. Earth and Mars gave me the hardest time. Mars I had to erase and start over on many times. What's different about this drawing is that I tried a new technique where I've colored in almost all the black lines. The only black lines that didn't go where on Sorath's head. I couldn't make them any other color that would look right. But on his body and on the rock he's on it's all colored in. I need to practice this technique more and I'm sure I'll get better over time. I love how his gold feathers/scales on his neck turned out as well as his head dress. The star background was one of the easier things to make. Sorath is on a bit of a power trip and letting the planets around his tail fly like mad around him. But being the second in command of the universe you can't blame him. |
